Nobody’s getting a perfect score at conflict resolution, but there is a better way to fight.
Here’s a list of rules to fight by:
1️⃣ Don’t call each other names.
The moment you attack the person instead of the problem, the conflict is already lost.
2️⃣ Don’t raise your voice.
Volume raises tension, not clarity.
3️⃣ Don’t get historical.
Bringing up old stuff isn’t fair; it keeps you stuck instead of moving forward.
4️⃣ Don’t ever use the word “divorce.”
Not as a joke. Not as a threat. Not ever.
Marriage is a God thing, and the enemy hates anything God calls good.
So protect it. Fight for it. Fight fair.
